SHINE SA is a leading not-for-profit provider of primary care services and education for sexual and reproductive health and relationship wellbeing. We work in partnership with government, health, education and community agencies, and communities towards our strategic vision of sexual health and relationship wellbeing for all.   

The Schools Education and Support (SES) Team has been working with South Australian educators and school staff for more than 20 years to build their capacity to partner with families to support young people to establish and maintain positive relationships and sexual health education that leads to positive health and wellbeing outcomes. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Manager, SES Team, based at our Woodville site with some work from home flexibility. Candidates require a tertiary qualification in Education, Health, Social Sciences, or related discipline and experience in leading people and teams for impactful outcomes and cohesive team culture. 

The Manager will work closely with the Director of Workforce Education and Development to provide leadership and management to: 

  • ensure the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of SHINE SA’s support for schools which includes the Focus Schools Program, education and resources for primary, secondary and alternative schooling; 
  • ensure the efficient and effective management of physical, human, and financial resources of the Team; 
  • increase the revenue and scope of services offered by the SES Team including the Library and Resource Centre.
