Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum Professional Learning

SHine SA is the Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) approved training provider for Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) professional learning.

All DECD sites are required to provide the KS:CPC at all year levels and all staff delivering the curriculum must complete a full day face-to-face training as outlined in the DECD policy.

Please note: this is not “Responding to Abuse and Neglect” training.

The KS:CPC training is only available to approved organisations.

Do you work within DECD, CESA, AISSA, or are you a pre-service education student from University of South Australia, University of Adelaide, Flinders University or Tabor College?

If you answered Yes, proceed to preferred training option.

If you answered No, but would like further clarification email decd.cpc@sa.gov.au

General courses are available to any individuals throughout the year at the Education Development Centre (EDC), Hindmarsh, or scheduled regionally as required.

Online update courses are available on the DECD Child Protection Portal for staff who have completed the full day training prior to 2013.
