This two-part webinar will present primary care providers with the information and tools required to improve STI screening and care for at-risk and key affected populations.

This webinar will be co-presented by SHINE SA’s Coordinator: Medical Education, Dr Amy Moten MBBS, FRACGP and Dr Sam Elliott, MBBS; Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine; FRACGP.

The event is provided through collaboration between ASHM and SHINE SA under funding by Country SA PHN.

Course Outline

This webinar will:

  • cover strategies available for the prevention of HIV transmission
  • highlight the importance of contact tracing and partner notification
  • provide practitioners with an overview of the tools required to improve STI screening and care for at-risk and key affected populations

We encourage general practitioners, nurse practitioners, nurses, other primary care-based practitioners to attend.
