SHine SA works in partnership with other organisations on community programs that benefit the Queer community.

 

Rainbow Grrlz

A program for young women (under 26) living in the north who are same-sex attracted, lesbian, bisexual or questioning their sexuality. Run by Shopfront Youth Health & Information Service in partnership with SHine SA. Contact Jacintha (8281 1775) or Naomi (8256 0700) for more information.

 

Evolve

Evolve provides counselling, a once a month drop in (Grrrl's lounge) and groupwork (Illumin8) for same-sex attracted women and those questioning their sexuality (16-24 years). Run by The Second Story Youth Health Service. SHine SA staff offer programs and health promotion.

 

Inside Out

A program for same-sex attracted men or those questioning their sexuality (16-24 years). Inside Out is based at The Second Story Youth Health Service. SHine SA staff have provided many workshops and continue to co-work on a number of events. Contact TSS on 8232 0233.

 

IDAHO

SHine SA continues to support the International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) with a staff member on the planning committee, sponsorship and a range of IDAHO activities. For more information contact craig.murray@health.sa.gov.au

 

Feast

SHine SA has been a sponsor for a number of years. SHine SA staff and Y@s have run many Feast events. www.feast.org.au

 

Pride March

SHine SA has taken part in every Adelaide Pride March. www.adelaidepride.org.au

 

Southern Voices

Safety in our schools: responding to homophobia
