Courses for teachers
SHine SA conducts teacher training courses for middle school teachers.
The course explores:
- what makes an effective program for students
- current thinking about best practice in relationships and sexual health education
- classroom strategies for teachers of students in years 6-10.
A certificate of achievement and recognition of training and development hours is provided at the end of the course.

Participants will be given a copy of the teacher resource Teach it like it is as well as copies of the relationships and sexual health resource for young people Tell it like it is.

Looking after the safety and wellbeing of students has become the core business of schools. Addressing bullying and harassment is a major component of this. SHine SA is providing a one-day workshop on responding to homophobia for teachers.
