Cross-cultural issues and sexual health

SHine SA has developed a Cross-cultural issues and sexual health workshop for workers and community members who work with migrants and refugees.

This 2-day workshop aims to increase the capacity of those who provide welfare, education, health and sexual health services to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Areas covered include:

  • values exploration
  • cultural diversity
  • settlement issues
  • using interpreter services
  • sexually transmitted infections
  • contraception

Cost: $50 (GST incl) Includes morning and afternoon tea.
