Introductory course in sexual and reproductive health care

This is a two-day course for registrars of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and any other interested medical practitioners. It is aimed at doctors who are beginning a career in general practice or in community health or who want a brief specialist update in the field of sexual and reproductive health.

There is a strong emphasis on clinical skills, practical experience and small group work. Participants can expect to have accessible learning with an emphasis on developing individual skills and knowledge.

QA & CPD points can be applied for individually; please discuss with the Course Coordinator.

This course is equivalent to the first two days of the Certificate in sexual and reproductive health. So, doctors who have attended this course can attend just the last 3 days to complete the Certificate course theory.
