Certificate in sexual and reproductive health

Doctors preferably with at least one year's experience in general practice or O&G registrars can register for this five-day nationally accredited theory course, which is followed by six to eight clinical training sessions.

The five-day theory course is nationally accredited and has a standardised assessment included in the course. 40 RACGP QA&CPD points (category 1) are applied for on completion of this course.

Clinical training sessions

Clinical training is done after the five-day theory course. The sessions are direct hands-on training at SHine SA clinics, with support from senior SHine SA clinicians. We are a secondary referral centre for sexual, reproductive and women's health, and the clinics will extend your practical skills and knowledge. 40 QA&CPD points (category 1) are applicable on completion of the clinical sessions. If requested, IUD insertion clinical training can be part of these sessions.
