The clinical teams at SHine SA include both doctors and registered nurses/midwives who work collaboratively to provide high quality services to their community, including:
- contraception services (including Emergency Contraception)
- pregnancy testing, counselling and referral
- information on safer sex and sexuality issues
- STI testing, management and referral
- women's and men's sexual health issues
Drop-in services
Pregnancy testing, STI screening and Emergency Contraception are provided at SHine SA clinics during the times listed below. No appointment needed.

Services and fees
Through a new service agreement with the SA Health Department, SHine SA’s sexual health services will now be mainly for women and men under the age of 35. Also, SHine SA’s clinic and counselling services are now mainly intended for:
- Young women and men
- Aboriginal and Torres Trait Islander people
- Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people
- Humanitarian entrants
- People with disabilities
Cervix screening (Pap smears) will only be offered as part of a sexual health check, but not as a stand-alone service.

Free interpreting can be arranged with a male or female interpreter. Please let us know what you require when booking your appointment.
Prescriptions
Prescriptions for STI treatments and contraceptives are available at SHine SA clinics.
